The Lime Street Massacre: Short Stories of Fascism in Liverpool & Its Profound Effect Upon the U.S.

by James Keagan
£10.00   paperback  James Keagan (2007)

The Lime Street Massacre: Short Stories of Fascism in Liverpool & Its Profound Effect Upon the U.S. by James Keagan A wickedly funny account of a lad growing up in Liverpool with the illusion he is under a Nazi regime - his father being the Fuehrer. One of his escapes is football. The book chronicles his hitchhiking to Rome for the '77 cup final. Then, on to Paris in '81 for the Real Madrid game, after which he is thrown out of two countries in one day for a reason he can't remember. Later, he finds himself in the United States. Hilarious, very Liverpoolesque.
