We fight through direct action... subvertising.. education.. workshops.. fun days.. club nights.. fundraising events.. social centres.. social squats.. etc. We do not subscribe (as a group) to any political parties or agenda..though many members of the group describe themselves as anarchists, the collective may be best described as anti-capitalist and 'pro-people-ist'.

Red Rope Socialist Walking Club (Merseyside) - Red Rope is a national club operating in a dozen regions of England, Scotland and Wales. Our 400 members go walking, climbing and mountaineering throughout Britain and beyond. Whether it is the South Downs or the Himalaya that interest you - riverside walks or extreme rock - there are people in the club who share your interest. The club welcomes everyone from experienced mountaineers to sunday ramblers and couch potatoes. No-one is discouraged because of a lack of experience, and we share outdoor skills among the group to help everyone improve
Rhythms of Resistance - Rhythms of Resistance Manchester is a radical percussion band (samba band) that plays at street protests and direct actions. We see street carnival as a vital component of life and fun. We wish to create, through tactical frivolity, a world of equality, social justice and peace. We operate through consensus decision making as we believe in non-hierarchical power. We do not expect politicians to change the world for us and we do not wish for a leader to lead us: we believe in a DIY culture, grassroots and we wish to express freedom involving laughter, music and dancing. Through carnival and occupation of the streets we subvert the symbols and ideals of authority. An unexpected carnival is revolutionary.
